VideoRip is an independent technology project for learning and demonstrating web, media-processing and Telegram-bot technologies. Privacy questions can be sent to support@element.id.lv.

What data we process

Why we process it

We process this data to operate the website and bot, create download requests, answer support messages, prevent abuse, protect the service, troubleshoot failures and comply with legal requests. We do not sell personal data and the project does not intentionally collect sensitive personal data.

Service providers

Depending on the feature used, data may be processed by Hetzner for hosting and infrastructure, Telegram, Google reCAPTCHA, Google Analytics, Google AdSense and Resend for email delivery. These providers operate under their own terms, privacy policies and applicable data-processing agreements, including the Hetzner DPA where applicable, and may process data in different locations. Their processing is outside the direct control of the project.

Cookies and similar technologies

The service uses strictly necessary cookies for security and request handling. Optional analytics and advertising technologies may also be used. Optional technologies should only be enabled after your consent; you can withdraw or change that choice through the cookie settings available on the website.

Retention

Download requests and temporary media files are kept only as long as needed to complete the requested service and then removed by the application cleanup process. Contact requests and related technical data are retained only for support, security and legal purposes and deleted when no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of personal data, restriction of processing, objection to processing or withdrawal of consent. Send such requests to support@element.id.lv. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Changes

We may update this policy when the service or its processing activities change. The latest version will always be published on this page.
